Volunteer

The Volunteer Service League was established at Ridgecrest Village for the purpose of supporting and enriching the lives of all the residents.

Since its establishment in 1987, the Ridgecrest Village Volunteer Service League has grown to more than 200 volunteers. As a volunteer, you become part of a “caring community”- a community with a membership large enough to provide a wide range of services to our residents, but small enough for personal appreciation and recognition of each volunteer’s generous contributions of time and talents. Friendships flourish and spirits are lifted as our volunteers interact with each other and with our residents.

Our Volunteers are the Heart of Ridgecrest Village

The role of the volunteer is vital to the caring atmosphere of Ridgecrest Village. Volunteers contribute their unique talents, special skills and knowledge of our community to provide personalized attention to our residents. Ridgecrest Village encourages the teamwork of volunteers, staff, and residents so that a loving home environment can be offered to our residents.

Our Volunteer Service League
The Ridgecrest Village Service League is always seeking new members to help provide the following services:

  • To promote the practice and spirit of volunteerism.
  • To offer special activities sponsored by the Volunteer Service League that supplement the Ridgecrest Village Activities programming.
  • To operate the Arcade Café and Gift Shop, our main fundraiser.
  • To generate funds from special gifts, memorials, and membership dues.
  • To provide funds for a variety of worthwhile projects that will enrich the lives of Ridgecrest residents.

Types of memberships offered
General Membership: $10.00/year
Friend: $15.00 to $100.00/year
Lifetime: $150.00

We encourage our volunteers and residents to join the Ridgecrest Village Volunteer Service League to ensure a strong, active, and vital organization.
