About Our Board
Ridgecrest Village oversight is done by a volunteer board of directors, comprised of various community members, including businesses, individuals, and small organizations. The board works to make our retirement community the best retirement housing option in the Davenport area.
James R. (Jim) Tiedje, Board Chairperson
Jim retired as Vice President and Trust Officer from Quad City Bank & Trust. Prior to serving on the Board, Jim had been involved in various capacities at Ridgecrest Village including the Volunteer League and the Ridgecrest Foundation Board.
Chris Krieg, Vice Chair
Chris is the Chief Construction Officer at Russell Construction providing operational leadership to their 3 offices around the Midwest. Chris and his wife Susan have 3 active girls. In addition to serving on the board at Ridgecrest, Chris is active throughout the community including coaching kids’ activities, a Trustee on the Bettendorf Community School Foundation, and an active member of Bettendorf Presbyterian Church.

Elliott R. McDonald, Attorney, McDonald, Woodward & Carlson, P.C. Elliott has been a life-long resident of Davenport, Iowa
John Anderson, Treasurer
John is the CEO of Quad City Bank & Trust. He began his career with Davenport Bank & Trust and later moved to Brenton Bank, where he served as Chairman, President, and CEO of the Davenport operation. John is deeply committed to the Quad City area and serves on several community boards. Director, St. Ambrose University, Ridgecrest (Christian Retirement Homes), Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of Davenport (CFDD), United Way of the Quad Cities. John serves on the fundraising committee of the Quad Cities Cultural Trust. He has served on many boards in the past such as Genesis Health System Foundation, Genesis Philanthropy, Quad City Symphony, Junior Achievement, Director Bettendorf Schools Foundation, the Humane Society of Scott County, and Garden Growers, Rick’s House of Hope, and the American Heart Association. John was awarded the Iowa Women’s Connection, Male Champion of Change, YWCA’s 100 honored honorees, Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser by the American Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Vera French Foundations, Friends of Vera French award, along with being named a Quad Cities Leaders under 40 awards.
Marty is a Speech-Language Pathologist employed by Genesis and Unity Point Trinity.
Since 2003, Marty has had the honor of serving Ridgecrest on the Crest Health, Admissions, and Nominating Committees.
Reverend Kristine Dohrman
Reverend Kristine Dohrmann was ordained in June 2013 in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). She grew up in the Quad Cities area and experienced first-hand the compassionate care and active lifestyle for Ridgecrest residents when she served as visitation pastor for St. Paul Lutheran Church. She now serves as Bereavement Coordinator for Heartland Hospice. Kristine and her husband, Jon, have three adult children and a Golden Retriever, Ripley. Her hobbies include bowling, playing cards, hiking, and spending time with her family and friends.
Mike Beaderstadt, Board Member
Mike is pleased to be serving on the Ridgecrest Village Board and recently retired from a forty-year career as part of the Quad City medical and business communities, with roles in clinic management, HMO administration, and employee benefit consulting.
Dee is a retired local government administrator serving Davenport for 27 years and Scott County for eight. Dee and her husband live near Ridgecrest and have always seen it as a vital part of the neighborhood.
James H. (Jim) Andrews, Board Member
Jim retired from Davenport Community Schools after 29 years in administration in 2005. He retired a second time from Rock Island School District #41 in 2015 as Associate Superintendent of Human Resources. He is a long-time member of Davenport Kiwanis and the Davenport NAACP. He is a former member of Davenport Host Lions and Davenport Rotary. Jim formerly served several terms on the board of Scott County Family YMCA and is pleased to be a current member of the Ridgecrest Village Board.
Ralph Congdon, Board Member
Ralph is a retired Orthopedic surgeon who has served the Davenport Public School District as a team physician for 38 years. He has served 18 years on the “then” University of Iowa Foundation Board, now called the Center for Advancement. He is pleased to continue his service on the Ridgecrest Foundation Board.
Dawn Boettcher, Board Member
Dawn has been in healthcare since 1998, she has worked in many different facets of healthcare from Long Term Care to Administration, Dawn is currently the Associate Dean of Health Programs at Eastern Iowa Community College District. Although Dawn is originally from the East Coast, she considers the Midwest her home.
